How We Celebrate
The festivities begin early in the morning and continue until the midnight hour, the exact time of the Lord's birth. The temple is beautifully decorated with flowers and lights, creating a transcendental atmosphere for all visitors.
Abhishekam
A grand bathing ceremony of the Deities with milk, honey, and sacred waters.
Kirtan
Ecstatic chanting of the Holy Names throughout the day and night.
Gita Katha
Special discourses on the life and teachings of Lord Sri Krishna.
Maha Prasadam
A variety of delicious vegetarian offerings shared with the community after midnight.
The highlight of the evening is the Maha Aarti at midnight, followed by Nandotsav the next day, where we celebrate the joy of Nanda Maharaj upon the arrival of Gopal.
